Team Socceroo struggled to find the mark, but managed to carve out a 1-0 victory over Cimarron FC in Division Two action of the United Football League Tuesday at the Emperador Stadium in Mckinley Hill in Taguig.
Jeon Shin Seok buried a shot off a miss at the 28th minute for the lone goal of Team Socceroo, but the score didn’t reflect how the match was dominated by Team Socceroo, which continued its unbeaten run this season.
Team Socceroo dictated the match from start to finish, dominating the possession which led to multiple attacks at the goal. However, their shots just failed to hit the back of the net, opening the door for Cimarron to tie the match.
Cimarron’s best chance to hit the equalizer came at the 66th minute, but its shot barely missed the goal.
Team Socceroo notched its 11th straight victory this season to top the Division Two table with 33 points and come closer from promotion to the Division One next season.
Meanwhile, Cimarron FC suffered its sixth loss of the season along with four wins and one draw to stay at fifth place with 13 points.
